Favorite NYC restaurant: Malatesta Trattoria. This gem is tucked away on an inconspicuous street in the West Village. Italian is the first language, fresh pasta is served, and you can't make a reservation. The Bolognese reminds me of a drawn out Sunday dinner in Florence.
In the city I love: Seeing movies in those tiny theaters you can only find in New York. Walking Central Park in every season, especially the reservoir and the literary walk. Seeing a Broadway show, hearing New Yorkers talk about New York, and soaking in the soul of this city.
Passions: Using words and sometimes music to tell stories that help people better understand themselves and others. I also love cooking through physical cookbooks--I’m always looking for a good (cook) book!
